Chroming, a dangerous trend on TikTok, involves inhaling toxic fumes to get high. It has caused the death of an 11-year-old boy and is associated with sniffing fumes, bagging concentrated vapours, and huffing toxic substances. Approximately 684,000 adolescents engage in this hazardous practice. According to toxicology specialist Anthony Pizon MD, chroming “is a variation of an old theme of huffing all sorts of hydrocarbons.”
