At the recent meeting of Corbett Tiger Foundation attended by forest officials as well as forest minister Subodh Uniyal on Saturday, it was decided to allow jumbo rides in a "regulated manner". "The interpretation of orders vary from case to case and our state holds significant potential for ecotourism. So, we have decided to try to re-introduce jumbo safaris. It should resume in a fortnight," Uniyal told TOI.
