The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) allies- the Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress have called for a Maharashtra Bandh today to protest against the killing of four farmers in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri. In Mumbai and adjoining areas, shops remain closed in most parts. Whereas, at least nine BEST buses were damaged by unknown persons by pelting stones in various places. The Mumbai Police has deployed the maximum manpower at their disposal on the streets today to prevent any untoward incident. Stay tuned for latest updates here:
