Former England captain Michael Vaughan hailed Dhoni as the best ODI and T20 captain of his era, during which he led India to winning the World T20 in 2007 and the ODI World Cup in 2011. Dhoni retired from Test cricket in 2014 and later handed over the white-ball captaincy reins to Virat Kohli.
