Ravi Shastri remains favourite for the post of the coach of the Indian cricket team and has an automatic entry in the process. Shastri's contract ended with the World Cup but he and his support staff have been given a 45-day extension for the West Indies tour that starts Saturday. Under Shastri, India have won a little more than 70% of their matches.
