JD(S) supremo and former PM HD Deve Gowda expressed doubts about the survival of the Congress-JD(S) coalition government headed by his son HD Kumaraswamy. Reacting to the development, Kumaraswamy, who is in Yadgir, claimed that media has misinterpreted his father's statement and that his government would complete it's tenure.
