ICC put a lid on the raging controversy, saying regulations do not permit MS Dhoni to sport 'Balidaan' logo. "ICC events do not permit any individual message or logo to be displayed on any items of clothing or equipment". However, Dhoni had conveyed to the BCCI that he would "happily" take off the insignia should it be perceived as breach of the ICC rule book.
