The Bachchan family already has interests in Indian Super League franchise Chennayin FC and Pro-Kabaddi League franchise Jaipur Pink Panthers. It is now looking for space in the Indian Premier League. The Bachchans first approached IPL’s defending champions Chennai Super Kings which did not materialise and then Rajasthan Royals where there has been no development.
