Stating that the outcome of the Mizoram and Telangana polls has given the clear message that voters have chosen strong regional outfits over national parties, Thackeray appealed to voters to give a similar mandate to the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra. On the recent seat-sharing pact between BJP and Paswan, he said, “Let other leaders, like Nitish Kumar and Paswan, make their stand public on the Ram temple issue.”
