NCW chief Rekha Sharma said that growing awareness about the law has resulted in more people coming forward to complain. The maximum complaints have come from Uttar Pradesh with the NCW receiving 695 complaints followed by Delhi at 352 and Haryana at 155. The NCW database also shows 14 complaints received as a fallout of the #MeTooIndia campaign.
